Clare Thompson is a Board-Certified Nurse-Midwife& DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice). She most recently also practiced at St. Charles Medical Group at the Center for Women's Health in Redmond Oregon. Clare's passion is caring for women through pregnancy and the postpartum period. She also enjoys assisting with gynecological surgery. Both Dr. Hoshaw and Clare Thompson look forward to working as a team with current AMH providers and being a part of Adams Women's & Children's Health providing quality full-spectrum healthcare to women and children. Their office will be located on the Adams Woodcrest Campus (1300 Mercer Aveneue, Decatur) in the same space as Dr. Adam Will. Patients should use the south Woodcrest entrance and follow the curve around to the back of Woodcrest Why Dr. Hoshaw and Clare came to Decatur We chose Decatur because we love a smal-town population and locally owned/managed healthcare. We have both worked for several large healthcare systems in our careers and the focus in those systems is less on the patient and more on the bottom line. We enjoy face-to-face patient interaction and are interested in partnering with our patients, listening to their needs and providing education, support, and solutions as needed.
