(Tim & Valerie Summerset of Bene..Jlie is from W. Africa) Jolie needed therapy for her diagnosis of club feet. She could not crawl or walk at all Jolie had an immediate connection with Physical Therapist, Rani Reyes-Martin. The two worked very hard for nearly 4 months, making gradual progress first with crawling and then walking with the assistance of a miniature walker. Recently, our Rehab Manager, Angie Vogel, PT had a surprising realization: Jolie was walking out of the Adams Memorial Hospital therapy entrance holding her host mother's hand. Jolie's progress has been remarkable to watch and her sweet spirit and determination has touched the lives of many during her short stay.
