When it comes time to write a check we often ask ourselves, what do I get out of this? I’m sure that many people ask this question when it is time to pay your annual dues investment to the Chamber.
Two things are important for us to remember: First our dues are an INVESTMENT in our community. The Chamber’s primary responsibility to, “promote the economic, commercial industrial and educational interests” of Decatur. In short, your dues bring customers, clients, and dollars to Decatur.
One large advantage of Chamber membership involves being identified as a good corporate citizen – someone who is interested in the best interest of the community. While this is intangible there are definite tangible benefits of membership.
