The Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion opened its facility for membership January 15, 2009. The overarching goal of the 21,202 square foot wellness pavilion is to provide the citizens of the southern part of Adams County with the facilities, equipment, and programs to promote an enhanced quality of life. “I see the wellness center as a venue to promote healthy lifestyles aimed toward improving one’s total well being,” said Sarah Conrad, Wellness Pavilion Director. “We want to make Berne known for its commitment to overall wellness.” Facilities include an aquatic center, strength building fitness area, floor exercise space, a game room along with a lounge area. In addition balance, high & low impact, toning & conditioning, and water aerobics classes are offered. The facility is also able to accommodate receptions and parties.
